What is the return policy?
At The Cheyne, each piece is created in limited quantities and designed to be worn with intention. We hope you love your garment as much as we loved creating it.
If for any reason it isn’t the right fit for you, we’re here to help.
Returns
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return:
Items must be unworn
Unwashed
Free from fragrance, makeup, or marks
In original condition with all tags attached
Because our collections are produced in limited quantities, we kindly ask that you try pieces on with care.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email.
Approved returns will be refunded to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot take responsibility for items lost in transit.
Faulty Items
In the unlikely event that your piece arrives with a fault, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at:

Shipment and Orders
When will I receive my order?
Orders are processed within 2–3 business days.
Once dispatched, delivery times are:
Domestic: 2–5 business days
International: 5–10 business days
You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order ships.
During limited drops, processing may take slightly longer due to high demand.
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location.

Where are your products designed and manufactured?
All pieces are designed by The Cheyne with intention and versatility at the forefront — created for the modern muse seeking refined, multiwear pieces.
Our pieces are produced in small runs in Bali, Indonesia, in collaboration with carefully selected manufacturing partners.
We prioritise craftsmanship, quality, and intentional production at every stage.
What fabric do you use?
Our current collection is crafted from 100% cotton.
We chose cotton for its breathability, structure, and longevity — allowing each piece to transition effortlessly across seasons and occasions.
How should I care for garments with a raw edge?
Some of our pieces feature an intentionally unfinished raw edge.
This detail is designed to naturally soften and subtly fray over time, adding character to the garment. Fraying is expected and forms part of the design.
If desired, loose threads may be carefully trimmed to your preferred length without affecting the integrity of the piece.
For best care, we recommend:
Cold gentle wash
Wash inside out
Wash with similar colours
Air dry flat or hang to dry
Avoid tumble drying
Caring for your garment gently will help maintain its structure while allowing the raw edge to evolve as intended.
